You really should make your first attempt at using the software on a paying customer or a client of yours, thats the general rule of thumb when testing out any software. I tried the Logmein Rescue Beta, and it worked perfectly on a Mac running Leopard.
The user had their Wallpaper randomly changing every 2 seconds, so that slowed everything down till I disabled that setting! Otherwise, it worked great - file manager worked also!
